CENTIMFE is a portuguese non-profit Public Utility institution, created in 1991, with over 230 Associates, recognized as a Technology and Innovation Center (CTI), integrating Companies, the sector associations CEFAMOL (Portuguese Association of the Moulds Industry) and APIP (Portuguese Association of the Plastics Industry), the public partners, IAPMEI and IPQ and, the Municipalities of Marinha Grande, Leiria, Batalha, and Oliveira de Azeméis.

By promoting and developing activities like Technical assistance, R&D, Technological transfer and Specialized training, CENTIMFE reinforces Industrial competitiveness.

Recognized as a Technology and Innovation Center (CTI), with a decision published on August 8, 2022, by order no. 9799-A/2022 from the State Secretariat for the Economy.

Co-founder and Official Member of the Cluster Engineering & Tooling from Portugal (nº PT10080 ).

Consultation point for the Decentralized Standards Consultation Network, a free and digital service from IPQ, which simplifies access to Portuguese and European standards throughout the national territory.

Recognized for exemplary commitment to sustainability practices, by completing the first annual data submission on the SIBS ESG Portal.
